Item Description:
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) requires to establish a contract with a highly qualified experienced company for the provision of spare parts & technical services for Forklift Trucks (multibrand) on an “as and when required” basis, in accordance with the equipment manufacturers specifications and standards.
The services include but are not limited to the following activities:
- The provision/supply of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Forklift Trucks spare parts & related accessories.
- The provision of Technical Services-Labour to conduct Inspections, Maintenance and Repairs in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers standards and specifications. The Contractor will be requested to provide/supply all tools, equipment and related technical diagnostic equipment to undertake the required services.
The multibrand Forklift Truck fleet is configured with various types-light to heavy, and with two types of power systems-Diesel and Electrical, as summarized below:
- Lugli 20R. Electric Forklift, Qty 1
- OM Pimespo Thesi B2. Electric Forklift, Qty 5
- Toyota 7FD30. 3ton Diesel Counterbalance Forklift, Qty 1
- Kalmar DCE 150-12. 15ton Forklift, Qty 1
- Fantuzzi/Terex FDC 150. 15ton Forklift, Qty 2
- Kalmar RT 250. 25ton Rough Terrain Container Handler, Qty 1 VII. GS Skyjack. Battery operated Access Platform, Qty 2
- Bolzoni. Battery operated Access Platform, Qty 1
The technical services will be performed by the Contractor at the UNGSC premises/workshops.
The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to be extended for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, subject to the satisfactory performance of the contractor.
The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI.

This notice does not constitute solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process.
The UNGSC Procurement considers a firm’s qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the vendor’s status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided.
