Item Description:
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Thailand Country Office has now issued a Request for Proposals LRPS-2019-9148218 in order to select a supplier for the provision of Staffing Services for back-end support to PSFR’s Fundraising Transactions/Operations. This includes all data management and call center services. The fundraising operation in Thailand has been running successfully in the past decade. Many new techniques were and will be implemented in addition to key activities such as direct mail i.e. Face-to-Face fundraising, Tele Marketing, Digital, Major Donor and Corporate Fundraising. The gross income raised in 2018 accounted for US$17.3 million or Baht 560 million of which 87% generated from a regular giving program which mainly came from the Face-to-Face technique (sending trained fundraisers to approach donors directly in public places such as shopping malls, street corners, fairs and other event locations as well as in offices, to introduce UNICEF and request a monthly donation). The current number of active regular giving donors is at 70,000 donors (as off February 2019) and one-time giving donors at 57,000 donors. Due to the increasing number of activities, communication and innovative strategies we are planning, PSFR needs the support of professional outsourced staff to help with our backend operations to make sure all transactions and assignments are implemented without hindrance. The average number of data entry and donation collection transactions (both regular giving and one-off donations) per month to be processed through our software system is approximately 70,000 transactions per month or 840,000 per year. This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system and designated email. By clicking on the blue ‘Express Interest’ button in the UNGM tender notice, the full UNICEF e-submission system instructions to bidders document (including instructions on how to access the tender documents and submit an Offer) will be automatically emailed to the ‘contact persons’ included in your UNGM registration. Alternatively, the full UNICEF e-submission system instructions to bidders document is publicly available on the UNICEF supply internet pages here:
https://www.unicef.org/supply/index_procurement_policies.html . In the tender management site, if you navigate to the documents tab and opt in to confirm your intention to submit a Bid – you will then see the mandatory placeholders for documents that must be attached prior to submitting your Offer (you will also see if there are any mandatory questionnaires to complete). As such, you are recommended to `opt in` well before the submission deadline so you are clear exactly what documents are required to be uploaded prior to completing your submission. Please note that in order to access the tender documentation through UNICEF’s e-submissions system, vendors must: (i) be registered with UNICEF in UNGM as a company/NGO; (ii) have successfully completed all mandatory information currently required by UNGM when registering.
