Provision of Writing and Editing Services

The European Environment Agency (EEA), referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.

The call for tenders is split into 2 (two) lots:

• Lot 1: Writing services;

This lot covers services in science writing on environmental issues in English for a variety of audiences, including policy-makers in the environmental and related fields, scientists, academics, businesses, the media and the general public.

• Lot 2: Editing and proofreading services.

This lot covers services in English language editing and proofreading for EEA publications. These may include reports, briefings, web reports and indicators. The texts to be edited will mainly be for publication on the web.

Tenders may be submitted for one or both lots. Each lot will be assessed independently of any other lot. Tenders that cover only part of one lot or are declared as being conditional on the award of any other lots are not permitted.
