Purchase of 510 Android tablets including the required accessories for the Learning Coin for Equitable Education Project

The United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit electronic offers as follows:

With support from the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) under the government of Thailand, UNESCO Bangkok will implement the project “Learning Coin for Equitable Education” in collaboration with the Thai Ministry of Education. This project aims to promote equitable basic education/equity-based basic education for marginalized and disadvantaged children by 1) piloting and establishing an innovative learning system to improve the learning achievement of out-of-school children (OOSC) and marginalized children and youth to benefit at least 500 learners and their parents, and 2) strengthen collaboration mechanism between local educational agencies in order to reach out to the OOSC and marginalized children and youth, and promote educational innovations for them.

Within the framework of the Learning Coin for Equitable Education Project, under the overall authority of the Director of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, Bangkok, and under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist in Literacy and Lifelong Learning, Section for Educational Innovation and Skills Development (EISD), hereby invite qualified companies and suppliers to submit sealed tenders as follows;

Procurement of 510 Android tablets including the required accessories (e.g. tablet cases), providing service of the LearnBig application instalment and delivering the tablets to the targeted provinces in Thailand.

The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
