Item Description:
The United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the United Nations system in Chile are seeking companies with Local Representation, duly experienced and with the technical and financial capability to participate in the bidding process for the following services.
Description of Services
As part of the maintenance and improvement of the ECLAC Building (1966), located in Av. Dag Hammarskjöld 3477 Vitacura district, Santiago de Chile, it is required the construction services, to replace 28 sets of seismic dissipaters located on the 24 reinforced concrete supporting columns of the building. This dissipaters and composed by neoprene fenders, installed to control horizontal movement. Companies shall have over 5 years proven experience in installation of seismic devices.
Special Requirements
a. Companies shall have over 5 year proven experience in isntallation of seismic devices
b. Providers are encouraged to complete the Vendor Registration Level 1 (Contracts estimated between USD 40,000 and USD 500,000) in the UNGM site at http://www.ungm.org
