    Item Description:

    The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking offers for the scoping phase of virtual services to assistive technology users, their caregivers and health care providers TeleAT project.

    Your  Company or Institution  is invited to submit a proposal for the services  in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP).

    WHO is a public international organization, consisting of 194 Member States, and a Specialized Agency of the United Nations with the mandate to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work. As such, WHO is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are, therefore, requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet WHO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.

    Requirements

    WHO requires the successful bidder, to carry out  a scoping exercise to explore the potential of teleAT to improve access and quality of AT services via ‘teleAT’, through innovating service provision, and at the same time enabling and empowering AT users and community-level service providers. This assignment will include a scoping review, gathering of feedback from in-country stakeholders, and development of a guiding document on impactful/priority teleAT approaches and considerations for implementation. TeleAT in this context refers to delivery of support services to assistive technology (AT) users, their caregivers and health care providers, through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at a distance.
