Supply and installation of substation and connection line equipment and materials (transformers supplied under another package) for the 110kV Phuoc Long substation and connection line

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid Development Sector Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Branch of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation – Ho Chi Minh City Power Project Management Board (PPMB for short) (the “Purchaser”) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and installation of substation and connection line materials and equipment (transformers supplied under another package) for the 110kV Phuoc Long substation and connection line (the “Goods”) with the following details:

• 110kV SF6 gas insulated switchgears (GIS) with aluminum alloy shell.
• 160kVA 22/0.4kV dry type 3-phase Auxiliary transformer.
• 22kV distribution system and switchgears.
• 22kV capacitor banks.
• 22kV power cable.
• Telecommunication system and SCADA.
• 110kV connection line (02-circuit overhead line and 02-circuit underground cable).
• 380/220VAC, 110VDC, 48VDC auxiliary power supply.
• Make a calculation table for the whole substation value; Make an energizing method; Testing and commissioning (transformers supplied under another package).
• Final Destination: 110kV Phuoc Long substation and connection line at Phuoc Long B Residential Area, Phuoc Long B Ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.
• Completion period: 240 days.

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
