Supply Contract for Implementation of Automated Import System (AIS), Automated Export System (AES) and Customs Decision System (CDS)

Item Description:

The Mission of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) is to take forward the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policies, as well as coordinating relations with EEA-EFTA countries insofar as Commission policies are concerned. DG NEAR works closely with the European External Action Service and the line DGs in charge of thematic priorities.

By implementing assistance actions in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood, DG NEAR supports reform and democratic consolidation, and strengthens the prosperity, stability and security around Europe. DG NEAR helps to promote EU values, policies and interests in this region, and to contribute to developing the special relationship of the EU with its neighbouring countries.

Procurement of the ITC equipment shall provide part of necessary hardware for development of a platform for software development. Hardware components are essential for the software development, testing, implementation and fine tuning.

Procurement is composed of the following:

• Procurement of necessary hardware;
• Integration with CAS systems, testing and training;
• Operational running of the procured hardware;
• Operational training.
