Supply, delivery and installation of Equipment for Civil Works, Phase 1

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Second Lower Secondary Education for the Most Disadvantaged Areas Project (LSEMDAP2), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Ministry of Education and Training Viet Nam through the Central Project Management Unit, LSEMDAP2 (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply, delivery and installation of Equipment for Civil Works, Phase 1. The package consists of two (2) lots:

• Lot 1: Equipment for the Northern region
• Lot 2: Equipment for the Southern region

Bidders can select to compete for one or both lots. Details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
