Supply of equipment for lighting, solar back-up systems for medical point/schools and solar pumping system for providing clean drinking water

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Invitation for Bids

The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridors 2, 5, and 6 (Dushanbe–Kurgonteppa) Road Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of clean energy components (“the Works”). The works comprise (i) solar-powered pumped water supply (Dushanbe-Kurgonteppa road km 5+000- 14+300 lhs); (ii) solar back-up power supply for school and medical post, Obishfo and Hayoti Nav (Dushanbe-Kurgonteppa road km 6+000-7+000 lhs); and (iii) LED road lighting for Ozodi tunnel (Dushanbe-Dangara road).

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
