Supply of Institutional Hygiene Kits, IHK-Type C

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

Invitation to Bid (ITB)

The purpose of this tender is to invite Bids to establish Long Term Arrangement for supply of Institutional Hygiene Kits, IHK-Type C to UNICEF Emergency Response Office in Poland for 2 years with a possibility of extension for 1 more year i.e. (2+1 years) subject to satisfactory performance and programme requirement.

Please note that only those companies having registered offices in Poland are invited to bid for this tender.

The initial immediate requirement is of 4,000 Institutional Hygiene Kits, IHK-Type C, to be supplied latest by last week of September 2022.Order for similar quantities maybe placed in the subsequent years of the LTA. However, the same will depend on programme requirements, funding availability and satisfactory delivery of services/goods by the supplier.

DELIVERY TERM:
The goods should be delivered and handed to the following Incoterms: DAP Delivered at Place at various locations in Poland

SUMBISSION CONDITIONS
PROPOSALS SHALL BE SENT VIA E-MAIL to no other person should be copied on the proposals: pol-procurement@unicef.org

E-MAIL SUBJECT MUST BE: LITB-2022-018 -9177583
E-MAIL MUST CONTAIN PROTECTED BY PASSWORD FILE ATTACHED WITH FILLED IN BID FORM, ANNEX B PRICE PROPOSAL TEMPLATE, C TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS TEMPLATE and D VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM WITH REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.

THE PASSWORD SHALL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE E-MAIL WITH SUBMITTED PROPOSALS AND SHALL BE PROVIDED TO UNICEF ONLY AFTER SUBMISSION DEADLINE UPON RECEIPT OF UNICEF REQUEST TO PROVIDE THE PASSWORD.

Maximum volume of one e-mail shall not exceed 25 MB. In case of need the Bidders may submit a couple of e-mails, clearly identified in the SUBJECT line as: LITB-2022-018-9177583_Part 1/Part 2 etc.

Proposals submitted otherwise, in hand or on alternative emails will not be considered.
