Supply of Laboratory Equipment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB), a multilateral development bank, was established in 1966 under the Agreement Establishing the Asian Development Bank. ADB is owned by 68 members, 49 of which are regional members, including Japan, Australia and New Zealand, providing 63.4% of its capital and 19 non-regional members, including the United States, Canada and 17 European countries, providing 36.6% of its capital. ADB’s headquarters (HQ) is in Manila, Philippines and it has 30 Field Offices (FO) – 27 in the Asia-Pacific region, and 3 representative offices in Germany, Japan, and United States of America.

The Government of Sindh has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project – SSEIP, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project – SSEIP, SE&LD, Government of Sindh (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Supply of Laboratory Equipment for 100 Existing Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) Secondary Schools (‘the Goods”).

The Laboratory Equipment for Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be procured as under:

1. Laboratory Equipment for Physics
2. Laboratory Equipment for Chemistry
3. Laboratory Equipment for Biology

Bidders shall submit their bid for all items.
