Subject of this call for tenders
The JRC Karlsruhe plans to purchase a multipurpose physical properties measurements cryogenics free apparatus. The device must be able to produce temperatures from 300 down to 0,3 K (optimally down to 0,1 K) and generate DC magnetic fields up to 9 T (optimally up to 14 T). The device must not require any external cryogenic liquids (nitrogen, helium, etc.) to be operated.The equipment is needed for the following measurements techniques on solid materials: heat capacity, magnetic measurements DC (DC-VSM) and AC (up to 10 kHz), thermal transport (electrical resistivity DC, thermo-power, thermal conductivity) and thermal dilatation.
