Supply of Six (6) Cesspool Emptiers

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online on 30th August 2018 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

The Government of Uganda has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Programme. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply of Six (6) Cesspool Emptiers.

The Ministry of Water and Environment now invites sealed bids from bidders for the Supply of Six (6) Cesspool Emptiers.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ground Floor, Ministry of Water and Environment, Plot 3-7 Kabalega Crescent, Luzira.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (One Hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings).

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:00am on 6th August 2020 and must be accompanied by a security of USD 20,000/= (United States Dollars Twenty Thousand).

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11:15am 0n 6th August 2020 at the offices of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ground Floor, Ministry of Water and Environment, Plot 3-7 Kabalega Crescent, Luzira.
