Support, Maintenance and Related Services (Training and Professional Services) for the Audiovisual Broadcast Intercom, Signal Distribution, Signal Processing and Signal Control Infrastructure

Item Description:

The General Secretariat of the Council of the EU (the ‘Secretariat’) is launching this call for tenders with a view to concluding framework contracts which will ensure the smooth functioning of the Broadcast Infrastructure through the necessary support, maintenance and related services.

The new framework contracts will ensure that the Broadcast Infrastructure managed by the Secretariat is covered by coherent maintenance and support services, allowing the Secretariat to request interventions and corrections for technical issues, improve the overall infrastructure stability with preventive maintenance, ensure smooth broadcast operations and minimal downtime in the interest of resilience and business continuity, keep the broadcast software up-to-date, provide the necessary professional services and keep the knowledge of the broadcast technicians up to date with the necessary training.

Lot 1: Services for Broadcast Media Network and Intercom Infrastructure (Riedel)

Lot1 covers services, related to the broadcast media network, audiovisual productions communication and intercom infrastructure (Riedel infrastructure) of the Secretariat: MediorNet, Artist and Bolero systems, including intercom network switches (AES67 switches).

Lot 2: Services for IP-based Broadcast Infrastructure, Broadcast Video and Audio Processing and Control Infrastructure (Lawo)

Lot 2 covers services, related to the IP-based broadcast infrastructure, broadcast video and audio processing and control infrastructure (Lawo infrastructure) of the Secretariat: specifically but not limited to V_Matrix, V_pro8, radio console and VSM systems.
