Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has applied for financing from the ADB towards the cost of Tripura Power Generation Upgradation & Distribution Reliability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd (TSECL the “Employer”) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for Survey, Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of the Work of Undergrounding & Strengthening of HT & LT Electrical Network on Arterial Roads of Dehradun Town of Uttarakhand State- Pkg-7 (“the Facilities”) in three (3) lots.
Note: This procurement is grouped in 3 lots being bid out as Package 7- Lot-1, Package 7-Lot-2 and Package 7-Lot-3.
As the works under the Uttarakhand Transmission Strengthening & Distribution Improvement Project (UTSDIP) are grouped in multiple contracts, pursuant to ITB 39.4, the Employer will evaluate and compare Bids on the basis of a contract, or a combination of contracts, or as a total of contracts to arrive at the least cost combination for the Employer by taking into account discounts offered by Bidders in case of award of multiple contracts.
The least cost combination will apply to lots in the same package as well as lots in different packages if two or more packages are evaluated together by the Employer for bids issued under the UTSDIP.
Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
