Training services in the field of car driving for drivers of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union in Brussels

The General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union referred to below as the contracting authority is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their annexes. The General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union has a fleet of saloon cars and minibus type vehicles used for certain professional trips by its staff (mission leaders and senior officials). These vehicles are driven by SGC drivers, who are required to follow permanent training courses covering daily driving activities, and driving in procession under police escort. On the other hand, commercial vehicles are driven in particular by handlers who benefit from training for defensive driving.

Lot 1: Driver training for executive drivers

This lot is divided into five modules:

• module 1: basic training for executive drivers;
• module 2: training to update driving skills;
• module 3: ‘tailor-made’ individual coaching;
• module 4: skills assessment;
• module 5: training to update theoretical driving skills.

Lot 2: Training for driving in procession under police escort, ‘VIP’ security aspects, and training for defensive driving on an adapted circuit

This lot is divided into two modules:

• module 1: training for driving in procession under police escort and security aspects for ‘VIPs’;
• module 2: training for defensive driving on an adapted circuit.
