Turn-key project for landscaping works at the UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks Expression of Interest from appropriately qualified contractors to carry out landscaping Works for the installation of a soccer field in an open area at the UNGSC’s Premises located in Brindisi, Italy.

The soccer field shall be 22m x 43m of artificial turf, with sideline fencing and lights. The Project will consist, among others, of the following Works:

– Preliminary Works: provision of Safety Operational Plan (POS), Executive Project (including civil and electrical design), Work Plan (Gantt Chart) and Maintenance Plan for all installations (structural and electrical);

– Execution Works: mobilization and site preparation, removal of existing fence, soil excavation and leveling, provision and Installation of curbs, the realization of vertical and horizontal drainage, provision and installation of synthetic grass, field fence & sports equipment (tubular doors with nets);

– Electrical Works: supply and installation of the necessary poles including plinth formation, grounding system, and projectors LED in aluminum; testing and certifications of the electrical wiring as per Italian Ministerial Decree 37/2008;

– Site Cleaning and Disposal of all debris and rubbish.
The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all the necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, consumables, supplies, transportation, travel & accommodation, administration, insurance and all other costs required to fulfill to carry out the Works. The UNGSC will provide utilities such as water, power, and lighting for the duration of the Works.
