Provision of satellite Phone services

The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) seeks to engage the services of qualified providers for the provision of satellite voice communication services to support its operational requirements.

UNDSS has an estimated 500 Iridium satellite phones in use in over 125 field locations worldwide. UNDSS seeks to engage a service provider with demonstrated technical qualifications in provision and delivery of satellice voice communication services – including provisioning, integration, delivery, porting, call rates, SMS, customer support (help desk), usage tracking, etc.. UNDSS requires services that are globally available, minimum of 99% worldwide satellite coverage, and fully scalable to meet requirements of the UNDSS. Satellite voice communication services are required to be highly reliable, 99% uptime, and not impacted by the local, political or security situation.

The United Nations Procurement Division invites expressions of interest (EOI) from vendors with demonstrated technical qualifications in the provision of satellite voice communication services and support with global coverage.
