Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Water Supply System in Telavi

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Georgia has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Urban Services Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 3. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The United Water Supply Company of Georgia (UWSCG) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Water Supply System in Telavi, in particular, construction of six (6) new water supply boreholes and rehabilitation of five (5) existing boreholes, laying of 1.4 km long transmission pipe and 59 km network pipes, installation of house connections, works for individual metering of apartments, construction of five (5) new reservoirs with 7,000 m3 total volume. The estimated construction period for whole of the works is 540 days.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
