Provision of Plumbing, Paint, Tiles, Timber, Construction, Electrical, Civil Hardware and Structure materials in different locations in DR Congo (DAP Kinshasa, DAP Goma) and DAP Entebbe, Uganda.

The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered companies for the Provision of Plumbing, Paint, Tiles, Timber, Construction, Electrical Civil Hardware and Structure Materials in different locations in DR Congo (DAP Kinshasa, DAP Goma) and DAP Entebbe, Uganda.

2. The purpose of this EOI is to asses potential suppliers who can provide the United Nations Mission for stabization in Congo (MONUSCO) with the ability, skill and knowledge in respect to the provision of the referred materials.

2.1 MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly for a Long Term Agreement and accordingly intends to issue an Invitation To Bid (ITB) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their abilitity to fulfill MONUSCO requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UN Vendor registration for level 1 on the vendor database accessible on ungm.org (new vendor only);

2.2 A detail Scope of Requirement (SOR) will be provided to companies short listed for receipt of the (ITB) documents. The need of these materials have grown and MONUSCO intends to enter into a System Contracts (i.e. long term agreements based on fixed prices and multiple deliveries on an “as and when required” basis) to establish an Open Ended Contract for the provision of plumbing, construction and electrical Items for all sectors in DR Congo (DAP Kinshasa, DAP Goma) and DAP Entebbe, Uganda;

3. The EOI should specify brief relevant information about the company including the company’s profile, capacity / capability and experience.

3.1 Provide with your list of materials and / or a catalog and the products that you can provide in sufficient quantities;

3.2 Provide with a customer reference list;

3.3 Provide us with a list of similar projects or orders already completed
Vendors will be shortlisted based on their ability to provide the relevant documents showing that they are authorized to undertake business in DRC. Interested vendors must provide the following documents with their response;

3.4 Copy of the registration certificate/license (s) of the company;

4. The requested information will only be used by the MONUSCO for internal planning purposes, be kept strictly confidential and only authorized personnel will have access to it.

4.1 Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid;

5. MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of peformance in the subject field of activities and submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the (ITB) documents MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI’s received after the deadline indicated below.

6. The Expression of interest may be submitted by email to monusco-procurement@un.org; fajongdavid@un.org or else by facsimile (see below), hand delivery or courier, clearly market with the inscription “EOI” – provision of Plumbing, Construction and Electrical Materials in Kinshasa, DR Congo and addressed as follows to be received not later than 08 February 2019, 15:00 hours Kinshasa time (GMT+1).
