Provision of Travel Agency Services for EASO

Item Description:

The European Asylum Support Office (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are enclosed in the attached ZIP File.

Current situation

Currently there are approximately 300 staff members working at EASO. By the end of 2019 the number is expected to increase to 390 staff members, and by the end of 2020 EASO is expected to have 500 employees. The staff members come from a wide range of national, professional and cultural backgrounds. Their functions at EASO vary from operational working directly with asylum seekers to administrative or managerial tasks.

Presently, the average number of quotations from mission orders per week to the Travel Agency for flights, and/or hotels, and/or car rental is around 50. While the number of bookings done in a week for flights, and accommodation, and car rental is at around 75.
