Item Description:
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.
The WFP, through its WFP Engineering, intends to award a Long Term Agreement(s) with capable suppliers for the provision of modular steel bridges worldwide, to the benefit of the WFP and other UN agencies.
The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity and the ability to deliver the above-mentioned services at the required standards. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in a forthcoming tender process for the proposed services.
Eligibility to participate in the tender will be determined on the basis of the evaluation of a preliminary capacity questionnaire.
