The World Bank Group (WBG), with 189-member countries, staff from more than 170 countries, and offices in over 130 locations, is a unique global partnership: five institutions working for sustainable solutions that reduce poverty and build shared prosperity in developing countries.

As the World Bank enhances its next generation data landscape, it is looking to procure some tools to strengthen self-service data analytics and stronger data governance. This RFI seeks to conduct a market survey and glean more information on the technology platforms and capabilities for self-service data preparation available in the market today.

This RFI invites interested parties to respond to a Request for Information (RFI) for the below two (2) lots.

• Lot 1: Self-Service Data Prep Tool
• Lot 2: Enterprise data Catalog Tool

As part of RFI, The Bank may request oral presentation from vendors. Subsequent RFP may be issued by this RFI evaluation.

This RFI is issued for the purpose of obtaining information concerning market conditions and vendor capability in order to allow the World Bank Group to refine its requirements and to better understand what is currently available on the commercial marketplace. The WBG does not intend to award a contract based on this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited.

The WBG reserves the right to publicly disclose contract award information, including but not limited to, name of company receiving the award, brief description of services, and contract award amount, for any contract award valued over US$250,000.  Offeror’s proposal and contractual documents will remain confidential and therefore not subject to disclosure.

The World Bank reserves the right to reject any or all responses without recourse.
