Supply, installation of equipments & training for the technology park Data Centers (DC2_DC3): lot 1 – datacenter facilities and lot 2 – datacenter datacom

This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which appeared in Development Business Issue No. AfDB797-12/13 dated December 9th, 2013.

The Government of the Republic of Cabo Verde has received a loan from the African Development Bank in the amount of €31,59 million towards the cost of the TECHNOLOGY PARK PROJECT, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to cover eligible payments under the contracts for the SUPPLY, INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENTS & TRAINING FOR THE TECHNOLOGY PARK DATA CENTERS (DC2_DC3): LOT 1 – DATACENTER FACILITIES and LOT 2 – DATACENTER DATACOM.

Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible member countries as defined in the ADB’s Rules of Procedure for the Procurement of Goods and Works.

The NOSI – Núcleo Operacional da Sociedade de Informação represented by Unidade de Gestão de Projectos Especiais (UGPE), now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for any or all of the following lots:

LOT 1 – DATACENTER FACILITIES

The objective of the project is designing, supplying, constructing, installing and setting up, training and commissioning of datacenter infrastructure: datacenter facilities, power systems, network operation center etc. on the turkey bases.

The project scope of work includes but not limited the followings:
Design, supply, construction, installation, setting up, training and commissioning of data center facility, datacenter environment interior and exterior design and workmanship such as raised floor, brick walls, fire rated and water proof ceiling, fire proof and water proof cladding, fire proof doors, paintings, bricking, plastering, etc., HVAC systems such as cooling, humidity, air exhaust systems etc., fire detection, alarming and suppression systems, rack and aisle containment, datacenter environment and facility management systems, access control systems, video surveillance system, power systems and power integration, network operation center construction etc.
