Item Description:

1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposal for the Provision of unrestricted GSM (Voice), SMS, MMS, 3G and 4G LTE Data services for UNAMI Staff in Kuwait with the initial contract of 1 year period with the option to extend at UNAMI’s discretionunder the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional years period, one year at a time (1+1) and subject to continuation of UNAMI mandate in Iraq, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor(s) 2.0 UNAMI’s requirement can be summarized as follows: 2.1. Services of a qualified provider for the Provision of Unrestricted GSM (Voice), SMS, MMS, 3G and 4G LTE Data services for UNAMI staff in Kuwait. Roaming access in as many as possible countries for voice and data. 3.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) with detailed specifications and SOW to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. 4.0 Please note the following: 4.1 This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. 4.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for an document. 4.3 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
