The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Supporting Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ceylon Electricity Board (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Package 10 Consisting of:
Design, Supply, Installation, Integration, Customization, Training, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of SCADA Supported Advanced Distribution Control Center for WPS1 of Ceylon Electricity Board.
Completion period is 547 days.
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
