Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a grant from High Level Technology Fund (HLTF), to be administered by the ADB, towards the cost of Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project. It is intended that proceeds of this grant shall be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Balochistan Irrigation Department (“the Employer”) represented by the Project Director, Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector Project invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Establishment of Network for Monitoring of Weather and River Inflow.
Period of the Contract for procurement and installation of the equipment including civil works is twelve (12) months.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
