Provision of Facilities Management Services for the African Development Bank at the Mozambique country office

The African Development Bank (hereafter referred to as “The Bank”) wishes to invite technical and financial proposals from experienced companies for the provision of Facility Management Services.

Bidders must originate from one of the Bank’s member countries, list of which is provided at http://www.afdb.org

Evaluation will be conducted based on quality and price according to the criteria published in the Invitation to Bid as outlined below:-

• Pass /Fail evaluation criteria
  • Bidders must originate from one of the Bank’s member countries.
  • Provide Audited Financial Statements for past three years (2019, 2020 and 2021 or latest). Minimum annual average turnover of 4,000,000.00 MZN
  • The bidder shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and shall have successfully or substantially implemented as a prime contractor at least three assignments of a similar nature and complexity
  • Provide a certificate of Incorporation and all other statutory registration
  • Provide Tax clearance certificate of compliance in terms of Tax.
• Technical evaluation criteria
  • Proposed methodology for implementation of facility management services and management of the contract
  • Relevant experience of the company, in similar assignment including:
  • Qualifications and level of competency of Supervisor to be assigned to the execution of the contract:
  • Credentials of Facility management Company to be assigned to the execution of the contract:
  • Project Management
  • Sustainable Procurement

The Bank shall organize a site visit and pre-bid conference to be held on 5th September 2022 at 09:00Hrs local time, at the Bank’s premises address indicated below.

Questions for the site visit and pre-bid meeting shall be communicated to tenders_comz@afdb.org by 6th September 2022 at 10:30Hrs. The site visit and pre-bid conference is mandatory.

The Proposals shall be submitted in sealed 2 envelopes delivered at the address below by Wednesday 21st September 2022, 15.00 hours. The envelopes should be clearly marked:
