Consultancy services to provide architectural design and supervision services for the renovation of Africa CDC warehouse at CLB -Douala-Cameroon – Africa CDC COVID-19 Response

The African Union has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) to support Africa CDC on COVID-19 response and intends to apply part of the agreed grant amount for payments under the contract for consultancy services to provide architectural design and supervision services for the renovation of Africa CDC warehouse at CLB -Douala-Cameroon.

As part of strengthening its Emergency Preparedness and Response, the Africa Union Commission has allocated with two storage space with total area of 2400 sqm and 200 sqm in the AU Continental Logistics Base (CLB) located in Douala Cameroon. The warehouse in its current form requires major maintenance and renovation work to meet the standard of Medical storage that meets international standard. The envisaged work includes Renovation of warehouse; Site works which include demolishing and cart-way of old structures, construction of ramps connecting the warehouse with the CLB internal roads and maintenance of drainage structures, construction of walkways, removal of old underground fuel tanker and backfill;

The objective of the assignment is to engage a firm to provide an architectural design and supervision service for the renovation of the warehouse in the CLB.

The African Union now invites eligible organizations and firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested organizations must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
