Eurojust is an EU agency for judicial cooperation in criminal matters. We are committed to transparency and informing European citizens of its activities via various communication channels.

Eurojust is currently making use of LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/eurojust/) and Twitter https://twitter.com/Eurojust.

Scope

In order to make the social media presence structural and consistent, Eurojust needs social media management services to support the Corporate Communications team.

Services required include:

1. Daily maintenance of social media channels;
2. Enhancing the Eurojust social media presence, forming connections, social listening;
3. Planning and implementing social media activity for specific events;
4. Ad hoc reports, additional expert advice and trainings. Eurojust has a FWC in place for graphic design and layout as well for audio-visual production; we also have access to the Shutterstock database for images. The contractor will have to cooperate with Eurojust and in exceptional cases with the existing contractors on designing visual elements of Eurojust’s social media content.

Objectives

The objective is to ensure that in close coordination with the Corporate Communications Unit and in line with Eurojust’s social media and communication strategy, Eurojust is represented on social media channels in a professional and efficient manner, so that its specific activities and products as well as general contributions to European security become visible to all identified target audiences.

Description of tasks and expected volumes

Eurojust uses 2 social media channels now and expects to use no more than 4 throughout the duration of the FWC.

Eurojust works in the judicial field, with most of its activities and results produced in a complex and precise language using legal terminology.

The contractor must be able to process and understand legal documents and produce texts that are understandable to the public and non-experts while accurately presenting complex legal matters.
