Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan and grant from the ADB toward the cost of Integrated Urban Environmental Management in the Tonle Sap Basin Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan and grant to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the following contract package:
Kampong Chhnang Sewerage, Flood Protection and Wastewater Treatment Subproject
The Works include:
- Site Development: Access Road (improving road embankment) 570m, Soil filling of WWTP construction site 1,400,000 cu.m, internal roads/Buildings 300 sq.m.
- Drainage improvement: Maintenance Existing Drainage Lines 28,820 m, Installation New Pipes 8,500 m, Sidewalk Restoration 15,300 sq.m, Open Channel Reshaping 2,000m
- Wastewater Treatment Plan capacity 4,200 cu.m/day.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document.
