Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Greater Mekong Subregion Health Security Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Ministry of Health (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of:
- Lot-1: Laboratory Analysis Equipment & Associated Consumables. Delivery and Completion (including Installation, Commissioning and Training) within 22 weeks for Lot-1 after the date of contract signing.
- Lot-2:Microbiology Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Associated Consumable (including Installation, Commissioning and Training) within 22 weeks for Lot-2 after the date of contract signing.
- Lot-3: Laboratory Supportive Analysis Equipment and Associated Consumables. Delivery and Completion (including Installation, Commissioning and Training) within 22 weeks for Lot-3 after the date of contract signing.
- Lot-4: Other Laboratory Consumables. Delivery and Completion within 22 weeks for Lot-4 after the date of contract signing.
- Lot-5: Hospital/Laboratory Furniture and Utility/Hygiene Equipment. Delivery and Completion (including Installation, Commissioning and Training) within 22 weeks for Lot-5 after the date of contract signing.
Bidder may submit bids for one lot or multiple lots. If a Bidder submits successful bids for multiple lots (lowest evaluated substantially responsive bids), the evaluation will also include an assessment of the Bidder’s capacity to meet the aggregated qualifying requirements relating to size of operation (average annual turnover) and cash flow capacity.
International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
