Construction of Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Plants at Gokarna and Hanumanghat

Invitation for Bids

The Government of Nepal has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Kathmandu Valley Wastewater Management Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Project Implementation Directorate, Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of the Works as described below:

The Works mainly comprise Design Build wastewater treatment plants at two (2) locations, Gokarna (3 MLD capacity), and Hanumanghat (1 MLD capacity) using MBBR technology with five (5) years Operation & Maintenance.

The capital expenditure of above stated work will be financed under ADB Loan and Government of Nepal/KVWSMB for Design and Build phase and Operation & Maintenance expenditure will be financed by Government of Nepal/KVWSMB.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
