Construction of Medium Capacity A (Type 2) and B (Type 3) Negative Pressure Isolation Wards in Four (4) Department of Health (DOH) Hospitals

Invitation for Bids

The Government of the Philippines has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Health System Enhancement to Address and Limit COVID- 19 (HEAL), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to bidders from all countries under the universal procurement policy of ADB.

The Department of Health (DOH) invites sealed/encrypted bids from bidders for the above-named procurement package involving the construction of medium, 31-bed and 25-bed capacity, negative pressure isolation ward buildings to be located within existing, obstruction-free premises of four (4) hospitals of the DOH. Each building is expected to be completed within 270 days. Designs, specifications, and drawings are detailed in Volume 2 of the Bidding Document.

Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with a hybrid procedure combining ADB’s Single-Stage: One/Two-Envelope bidding procedure and that of the Philippine Bidding Document (PBD) for the Procurement of Infrastructure Projects, as described in the Bidding Document.
