THE STATE OF TOCANTINS hired a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the implementation of the Integrated Sustainable Regional Development Project – PDRIS, and intends to apply part ofthe proceeds of this loan for valid payments of the Consulting Services.

The object of this request for expression of interest is the hiring of specialized consulting to support the Naturatins in creating public-private management models of Protected Areas with the optimization ofthe use of potential sources of financial resources.

The Planning and Budget Secretariat (SEPLAN) invites eligible consultancy firms to submit expression of interest in order to perform those services. Interested consultants must demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the services.The criteria for selecting the short list are: (i) demonstrated experience in planning, management and public use in protected areas, especially the Amazônia and Cerradobiomes; (ii) demonstrated Experience in advice and/or legal advice focused on aspects of biodiversityprotection and arrangements of public private partnership (PPP); (iii) experience in studies and elaboration of business plans with emphasis on the definition of financial sustainability mechanisms for Protected Areas.
