The Government of Zimbabwe has received a grant from The African Development Fund to finance the Institutional Support for Governance and Public Finance Management Project (ISGPFMP).
The Institutional Support for Governance and Public Finance Management Project aims to build upon previous and on-going Bank supported institutional support projects which contributed to strengthening public finance management, domestic resource mobilization and accountability. The Project will contribute to address drivers of fragility in the governance sector by strengthening oversight institutions and building capacity in areas of public debt management, procurement and fiduciary oversight and accountability.
The Government of Zimbabwe intends to apply part of the funding towards the hiring of an individual consultant to carry out training for Accounting Officers in MDAs on the provisions of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDAPA) Act. The assignment is estimated to have a duration of 30 days for 2 months.
The main objective of the assignment is to ensure that Accounting Officers are equipped with procurement knowledge and skills that lead to efficient; fair and transparent procurement processes and the achievement of value for money in line with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDPA) Act.
The Government of Zimbabwe now invites qualified Individual Consultant (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
