Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Second City Region Development Project, and part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Nowapara Pourashava, Abhoynagar, Jashore (“the Employer”) invites bids (e- Tenders) from eligible Bidders for the following Works (“the Works”):
i) Re-construction of drain from DN more to Rajghat rail crossing (Ch.0- 3301m) including 245m link drain and 150m slope protection work;
ii) Improvement of road from Nowapara link road to model college (Ch.0-1090m);
iii) Re-construction of drain from Nowapara link road to model college (Ch.0-1090m);
iv) Re-construction of drain from Akterpur Jamdarbari to the rail line culvert (Ch.0-900m);
v) Improvement of road from Muallem Tola Sopon Dotto house to Moti Biswas house (Ch.0-470m);
vi) Re-construction of drain from Muallem Tola Sopon Dotto house to Moti Biswas house (Ch.0-470m);
vii) Improvement of road from Changutia Bazar to Mistry para (Ch.0- 1010m) including 280m link road;
viii) Construction of 1.50m x 1.50m cross drain at Ch. 990m on Changutia Bazar to Mistry para road;
i) Re-construction of drain from Changutia Bazar to Mistry para (Ch.0- 320m).
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.
