    Item Description:

    Specific Procurement Notice (SPN)

    The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) jointly co-financed by OPEC Fund for International Development (hereafter collectively called “Bank ”) towards the cost of Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR) Section 2 & Section 3, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the ‘Formation of New Six lane road from Punnapakkam (Design Chainage : Ch 35+000) to Thiruvallur Bypass (Design Chainage : Ch 47+800) with paved shoulders and two lane service road on both sides in Section-2 of Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project under Package – EPC 02 on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Mode including maintenance for 7 years (the Package : EPC 02)’.

    The Executive Director, Tamil Nadu Road Infrastructure Development Corporation, for and on behalf of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for the “Package- EPC 02” fulfilling the qualification criteria as mentioned in the tender document under single stage two envelop (Technical & Financial) system as detailed in the Table in the attached Specific Procurement Notice (SPN). The duration of the contract (completion period of work) is 36 months and maintenance for 7 years. Tenderers are advised to note the clauses on eligibility (Section 1 Clause 4), minimum qualification criteria (Section III– Evaluation and Qualification Criteria), to qualify for the award of the contract. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 of the “INTERIM OPERATIONAL DIRECTIVES on Procurement Instructions for Recipient” setting forth the AIIB’s policy on conflict of interest.
