Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of BREB Network (Khulna Division) Project of BREB under Bangladesh Power System Enhancement and Efficiency Improvement Project-Additional Financing. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (the “Purchaser”) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Works i.e., “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning etc. all complete as required of 33/11 kV GIS Substation including civil works with land development and other related works (Turn-key)” (the “Works”). The works are grouped into different packages. Bidders have the option of submitting the bids for one, any combination, or all of the packages. Packages shall not be further sub divided for bidding purposes.
Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
