Procurement of 59 JRT buses

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of China has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Jiangxi Ji’an Sustainable Urban Transport Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the package named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

Instrimpex International Tendering Co., Ltd. (CNIITC, the Procurement Agent), authorized by and on behalf of Ji’an Municipal Urban Construction Investment and Development Co. Ltd. (“the Purchaser”), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the goods and related services to be procured as briefly described as follows:

• 59 JRT buses
• 459 sets of bus On-board Systems
• 1 set of dispatching and operation system for JRT and related services

• Warranty: 36 months
• Delivery time: within 30-90 days after contract signing

International competitive bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
