Procurement of Banking services for the deposit of surplus funds in euro

Item Description:

The European Medicines Agency (referred to below as ‘EMA’ or ‘the Agency’) is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union, the invitation letter, the tender specifications and their annexes including the draft contract. All documents are available in the enclosed ZIP File.

Subject of the tender

The Agency considers that it may require the following services:

1. One business savings account for the deposit of surplus funds in euro.
2. Other related products (e.g. short fixed term deposits to invest surplus funds in euro for maximum three months).
3. An internet-based online banking system enabling the Agency to manage the transfers and the investments through the financial institution’s secure website.
4. Monthly and yearly bank statements for all the accounts in paper and/or in electronic format.
5. A relationship manager who will supervise and manage all services and ensure the smooth running of the contract, including regular and/or specific requests or complaints from EMA.
6. A technical support helpdesk as a first point of contact for any queries relating to day-to-day banking queries.
