Procurement of hygiene and sanitary supplies and distribution

Item Description:

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was created by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. In 1950, UNICEF’s mandate was extended to address the long-term needs of children and women in developing countries everywhere. In 1953 it became a permanent part of the United Nations System, and the words “international” and “emergency” were dropped from the organization’s name, making it simply the United Nations Children’s Fund, retaining the original acronym, “UNICEF”.

For its efforts to enhance solidarity between nations and reduce the difference between rich and poor states, UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.

UNICEF Bangladesh Office is inviting LOCAL SUPPLIERS to participate to respond to LITB-2021-9171083 for procurement of hygiene and sanitary supplies  and distribution, Document attached.

2. The Bid will only be received at the E-mail address,ebidsbangladesh@unicef.org. In case of email submission, no other recipient should be copied (“Cc” or “Bcc”)
3. The bid should be quoted inBid Response Form-ANNEX-A (for transportation quote) and ANNEX-B

5. The Bid submission deadline is  Tuesday, 09 November 2021 at 1100 hrs., Dhaka time
6. A pre-bid briefing session on the requirement of the bid will be arranged on02 November 2021 at 14:30pm at UNICEF Bangladesh Country Office premises. All interested invitees are requested to attend the pre-bid briefing session which is mandatory for submitting the bid.
