Procurement of Substation Equipment

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program – Tranche 3. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. No nationality restrictions apply, other than any restrictions arising from ITB 4.8.

The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, “the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Substation Equipment: Lot- I: Replacement of 37MVAR Shunt Reactors at Sheikhupura & Gatti Substations and 20MVAR Shunt Reactor at Shiekhupura Substation and Lot-II: Replacement of 500/220kV, 450MVA Auto Transformer Banks at 500kV Gatti Substation. The contract mainly includes supply of 450 MVA Auto Transformer Banks and 37 MVAR & 20 MVAR Shunt Reactor Banks along with supervision of their installation, as detailed and specified in the Bidding Documents.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders without nationality restrictions.
