Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Government of India has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of the proposed Puducherry Integrated Urban Livability Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Public Works Department (PWD) represented by Project Management Unit – EAP (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Providing and Laying Underground Sewerage Networks in Zones 12-1 and 12-2 and Constructing In-line Pumping Station 12-2-1 at Odiampet in Puducherry.
Open competitive bidding – National advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
