Proviosion of Services for Off-The-Shelf Online Learning Resource Library

United Nations Office of Human Resources Management is looking to enter into an agreement with a vendor who can offer comprehensive off-the-shelf online learning resource library. Resolution A/RES/67/255, adopted on 30 May 2013 requested the Secretary General to promote e-learning in order to provide equal opportunities for staff to access learning. In support of this request, the Learning and Career Support Strategy 2014-16 outlined how the United Nations Secretariat learning programmes would move towards more dynamic online methodologies. Based on staff feedback, on-demand learning resources (video, micro-learning, practical exercises and job aids) have been demonstrated as a preferred online learning method. This methodology supports on-the-job (just in time) learning and improved access, both through mobile delivery and offline options. As the Secretariat’s online learning portfolio grows to reach its staff globally, the Office for Human Resource Management (OHRM) is looking for a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive, accessible, high quality off-the-shelf online learning resource library. The UN expects the vendor to have at least several years of experience for provision of similar services. Interested companies must submit the attached Vendor Response Form. The detailed scope of requirements, including the technical specifications, will be provided within the UN’s Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be sent out to all vendors responding to this EOI. No further detail can be made available prior to the issuance of the RFP solicitation. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
