Provision of Auditing Services related AfDB-financed activities for Empower New Energy AS

Empower New Energy AS (Empower) has received grant financing from the AfDB through the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA) to provide support for Empower New Energy AS to tackle essential pre-investment activities for the initial portfolio of small and medium scale renewable energy projects. Empower is now seeking an external auditor to review all accounts and activities financed by the SEFA grant.

The services include (but are not limited to) reviewing that services financed have been procured in accordance with the financing agreement; and have been properly accounted for.

Empower invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, August 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. The procurement method will be based on Least Cost Selection.
