Provision of Inventory and Warehouse Support Services in Nairobi, Kenya

UNSOS has a requirement for provision of Inventory and Warehouse Support Services in Nairobi, Kenya. The Contractor will provide Inventory and Warehouse Support Services which includes the following:

a)  Warehouse Services

b)  Inventory Planning Support and Related Services

c)  Ad Hoc/Overtime Activities.

d)  Warehouse Cleaning

UNSOS operates one (1) warehouse which is located within United Nation Office in Nairobi (UNON) compound in Nairobi, Kenya. The warehouse floor area measurement is approximately 36mx18m.

The inventory is mostly composed of IT equipment, general supply and occasionally medical items. Therefore, the vendors should consider that UNSOS receives small to medium size cargo which is normally a few dozen boxes per month and rarely some pallets.

UNSOS intends to enter into a contract with the successful bidders for an initial contract period of 3 years from the effective date of the award of the contract. The UN may exercise the option to extend the contract for two additional periods of one year each, i.e. 3+1+1 years. The services is estimated to commence from 01 September 2021.
