Item Description:
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is looking for providers of IT Technical and Functional Consultancy Services according to the tender documents.
The purpose of this Tender is to establish a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with various companies whose employees or consultants are experienced in the skills and technologies described in the Consulting Profile specified in this tender or who can source such consultants for IFAD, in order to provide Consultancy Services on a “as needed” basis.
The prospective Consultants will work with IFAD’s internal ICT Staff aiming to absorb peaks of development, implementation and maintenance works to be performed and to work on new projects and initiatives. Consultants shall perform these activities either at IFAD headquarters in Rome, Italy or from an offshore environment.
The RFP is divided into 9 LOTS. The objective of the first LOT is to identify companies that can provide freelancers for IFAD while the other LOTS have the objective of identifying companies that can provide their staff who are specialists in the technologies specified for each of the LOTS 2 to 9. Each Lot will be selected based on the ranking of the offers received.
