The European Medicines Agency (“the Agency” or “EMA”) is a decentralised agency of the European Union (EU) based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with effect from March 2019. Please note that initially the Agency is located in a temporary building in the Sloterdijk area of Amsterdam, before moving to a permanent building in the Zuidas area of Amsterdam.
EMA’s mission is the protection and promotion of public and animal health, through the evaluation and supervision of medicines for human and veterinary use.
The European Medicines Agency seeks to conclude a multiple framework contract in cascade for provision of legal advice in relation to real estate — English commercial property law. In particular, the Agency seeks to procure specialist advice of external legal practitioners qualified in England and Wales and working in a UK Law Firm concerning the lease and sub lease agreements for 30 Churchill Place, EMA building in London.
